Lead Instructors
Paul Strauss MD
Lead Instructor
Dr. Strauss has been a practicing anesthesiologist since 1987 at major trauma centers on both coasts. He has had an interest in personal protection, martial arts, and firearms for most of his life. He became an LAPD Reserve Officer with the purpose of bringing his clinical skills to the streets of Los Angeles.
Chris Lutton

An accomplished professional offering a comprehensive background supporting U.S. military operations in roles of increasing responsibility, as well as serving as a front-line first responder and instructor across fire, EMS, and tactical medicine disciplines.
Robert Maycott
Instructor
Experienced retired law enforcement professional with over 30 years of increasingly responsible leadership in policing, tactical operations, and personnel development. Instructor and mentor across multiple fields and disciplines.
